The ‘Alyssaa’ singer is no stranger to coming out, having shared a photo with her Facebook friends back in March that read “I’m transgender, and I am not ashamed.
I don’t have to be, and neither do the people around me.”

“I was born in the 1970s and the last time I saw my mom, she told me, ‘You have to tell your dad,’ and I just thought, ‘I’ve had enough,'” Milano told ABC News in a phone interview.
“It was my mom and my dad and my sister and my brother and I.”
While her family didn’t initially have an issue with her coming out as trans, Milani’s mother was initially worried because her son was going to be bullied for being transgender.

So I started to look into it more and it just really came out the way that I wanted it to.
I didn’t want it to be a secret anymore.
I wanted to share it openly.
“As a teenager, Milan’s mother had an affair with a male doctor and ended up losing custody of Milan.”
Milano, who was born a boy but was raised as a girl, said she was finally able to come to terms with her sexuality after years of struggling with her gender identity.””
I had no idea how I was going for it, but it just happened.”
Milano, who was born a boy but was raised as a girl, said she was finally able to come to terms with her sexuality after years of struggling with her gender identity.
“It’s not something that I’ve been able to change,” Milan said.
“The biggest thing is that, because of the way society is and because of my gender identity, it has been difficult for me to be able to
